Material
Just Doors offers this versatile and hard wearing range of 8mm thick engineered quartz work surfaces manufactured using the latest techniques that gives stunning results in your home. The product is made from 93% quartz crystals, 7% high density polymer and is diamond polished to provide a deep, long lasting shine.
Not only does it give a chic look to any room or work surface but is also very practical and hard wearing. Unlike traditional granite worktopsit is non-porous, therefore does not need any sealing or waxing, it is highly resistant to chipping, scratching, staining, heat and comes with a 10 year guarantee.
Fitting
Fitting the granite worktops begins with a site visit by one of our qualified granite installers. Onsite they will take a template of the existing worktop and work surface in your kitchen which is to be covered with the new granite worktop. We can also supply completely new worktops that fit directly onto your cabinets, if you wish. Please be aware that existing curved worktops can only be reburbished with straight edge ones.
Once the template is made our fabrication team will take 4m2 slabs of granite and customize to your worktop size in our factory. The process begins by cutting the granite slightly bigger than the measurements and bonding on to marine density MDF. Once the edges are fitted and the worktop is ready, a date and time will be agreed by our fitters to deliver and install your products.
Prior to fitting your new worktop we recommend that all items below your sink and cooker are removed and that work surfaces are clear. Our installers will then fit the granite worktops which usually takes no more than one day for an average sized kitchen. By fitting new granite worktops as overlays over your existing kitchen work top you get the same result at a fraction of the cost and time.
Lead times for fitting vary from 2 to 6 weeks dependant upon granite stock and appointment times.

Granite worktop colours
We have Sasso Riso granite worktops which is a brown with black grain colour in stock which would go perfect in any kitchen or work space. Rosso Argento which is a red colour granite. Nuvolo Riso which are a shiny black/grey colour in stock which would go perfect in any kitchen or work space. We have Nero Argento which is a black granite worktops. Milito Fino which is a dark brown colour. Grigo Argento is a dark green colour, Grigio Fino granite worktops which is a blue/light purple colour. Bianco Fino is a grainy white colour in stock which would go perfect in any kitchen or work space. We have Crema Argento is a cream colour worktop in stock, Crema Riso is a Pale Yellow colour, Fango Fino which is a light Brown colour granite in stock which would go perfect in any kitchen or work space as granite kitchen worktop.
